Mr. Carow has been a design principal in architectural and planning firms for more than thirty years and taught university courses in architectural design and history for twelve years. His architectural design is shaped by his studies at IIT under Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and graduate programs at MIT, his years teaching and traveling in Asia and Europe, and his working with clients of all types. His goal is to provides spaces that are in harmony with site, materials and activities. This begins with his commitment to working closely with clients in understanding their needs and developing functionally responsive architectural solutions on their behalf.
